Crab Layer 1 (CrabL1) introduces a fundamental shift in blockchain scaling theory. While traditional systems pursue vertical throughput at the cost of network fragility, CrabL1 prioritizes structural endurance through lateral scaling. By distributing load across isolated parallel lanes and utilizing a five-layer protection model, the system ensures consistent operation during extreme volatility.

02 // The Problem: Vertical Fragility

Modern Layer 1 solutions are trapped in a race for Transactions Per Second (TPS). This pursuit creates single points of failure where localized network congestion can cause global state stalls. High-speed consensus mechanisms often fail explosively when node synchronization is interrupted by market-driven volatility spikes.

CrabL1 moves sideways. We utilize autonomous parallel lanes (Lateral Scaling) that prevent congestion from propagating through the entire network. Stability is the primary directive. We optimize for consistent, predictable settlement over peak-burst performance.
